Outlot sold for new Walgreens store in Franklin
Meridian Properties Real Estate Development LLC, an affiliate of Plymouth, Minn.-based TOLD Development Co., recently purchased approximately 1.8 acres from Greendale-based O’Braun Corp. at Orchard View Shopping Center in Franklin. The Walgreens store at Orchard View Shopping Center at 7100 S. 76th St. in Franklin plans to move out of a 11,295-square-foot space in the strip mall, owned by O’Braun, and into a new 14,490-square-foot store that will be built by Meridian on the site purchased in the northwest corner of the shopping center’s parking lot. The 104,251-square-foot shopping center has several vacancies, including a vacant 44,703 space that was formerly occupied by a Sentry grocery store, which closed about a year ago. Mid-America Real Estate principal Dan Rosenfeld represented Meridian Properties in brokering the deal.
