College Possible Milwaukee, formerly Admission Possible Milwaukee, recently held its “After Admission event with We Energies. More than 20 Admission Possible Milwaukee college students currently working towards college degrees recently met with 25 We Energies employees to learn about how to present themselves professionally and use their strengths to leverage a career. Employee volunteers from We Energies facilitated workshops, provided job shadow opportunities, and participated in discussions about college and career plans with students. For the job shadow portion of the day, Admission Possible students were matched according to career interests or major with We Energies professionals from a variety of departments. This After Admission event provides an opportunity for college students to explore different careers, make connections and learn how a college degree can open doors in the job market.
