Goodwill to move into Reader’s Digest site in Greendale
Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin Inc. announced negotiations to relocate its headquarters to Greendale at a site currently owned by a subsidiary company of Reader's Digest Association Inc.
Metro Milwaukee home sales up 18.7% in July
The number of homes sold in the metro Milwaukee area increased by 18.7 percent in July to 1,978 homes sold, compared to 1,666 homes sold in the area in July of 2012, according to the latest report from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors.

Milwaukee-based multi-family housing developer Mandel Group plans to build a two-building, 60-unit luxury apartment development at Sendik’s Towne Centre, located southwest of Capitol Drive and Brookfield Road in Brookfield.
Downtown Pewaukee site for sale
A pair of adjacent properties, totaling 0.9 acres, is for sale at 125 W. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Village of Pewaukee, according to The Boerke Company, which is marketing the properties for Layton State Bank. The bank acquired the properties in a foreclose action, said Boerke broker Brian Riordan.
Upscale apartment building planned at former Pabst brewery
Oregon, Wis.-based Gorman & Company plans to build a 100-unit, upscale apartment building on a vacant site at the northeast corner of North 9th Street and West Juneau Avenue in the former Pabst brewery complex in downtown Milwaukee.

Opus Group to build student housing development at UW-Madison
The Milwaukee office of The Opus Group announced that it is part of a collaboration with Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC, a Chicago-based real estate investment management firm, to develop and construct Varsity Quarters, a new student housing development adjacent to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The project is a joint-venture partnership.
