Advertising agency buys former Capitol Drive Ethan Allen store

Adserts Inc. recently purchased the 15,000-square-foot former Ethan Allen store building at 14750 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, for $900,000, according to state records.

Quad New Berlin commingling center building sold for $9.3 million

Boston-based STAG Industrial Inc. purchased the 204,500-square-foot building at 5600 S. Moorland Road in New Berlin, which is occupied by a Quad/Graphics Inc. commingling center, for $9.28 million, according to state records. The deal was recorded Monday.

Former Metropolitan Cadillac dealership sold for $2 million

The former Metropolitan Cadillac dealership at 10221 W. Arthur Ave. in West Allis sold recently for $2 million to an Illinois real estate investment group, according to state records.

UMB lease kick-starts Schlitz Park

UMB Fund Services has signed a lease for 88,000 square feet of office space at the Schlitz Park office complex in downtown Milwaukee and will move there next year from its current downtown location at 803 W. Michigan St., owned by Zilber Property Group, executives with Schlitz Park and UMB announced Tuesday. UMB has signed a 10-year lease at Schlitz Park.

NML to vacate East Building in October

In October, 600 Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. employees will vacate the East Building on its downtown Milwaukee corporate headquarters campus.

Harmony Initiative shifts plans to Laacke & Joys site

The Harmony Initiative, a collaboration of the Milwaukee Ballet Company, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts and the Medical College of Wisconsin, no longer plans to build a facility at the site of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts parking structure at Water and State streets. Now the initiative plans to establish operations in the former Laacke & Joys buildings at 1421-33 N. Water St. in downtown Milwaukee.
