Meijer buys site for Drexel Town Square store for $7 million

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer Inc. recently purchased the 17.5 acre site in the Drexel Town Square development in Oak Creek where it plans to build a 192,940-square-foot store. Meijer bought the site for $7 million from One West Drexel LLC, an affiliate of Wispark LLC. Proceeds of the land sale will be shared with the city of Oak Creek.

Elkhorn Aurora clinic under construction sold for $8.9 million

An affiliate of Chicago-based real estate investment management firm Harrison Street recently purchased a 30,000-square-foot medical office building that is under construction at 201 E. Morrissy Dr. in Elkhorn for Aurora Health Care, according to state records.

Walmart buys former Brown Deer Lowe’s store for $4 million

Bentonville, Ark.-based Walmart recently purchased the former Lowe’s store property at 6300 W. Brown Deer Road in Brown Deer for $4 million, according to state records. The property was sold by Wilkesboro, N.C.-based Lowe’s Home Center Inc.

State home sales dip in November

The number of homes sold in Wisconsin fell by 6 percent in November to 4,719, down from 5,020 in November of 2012, according to the latest Wisconsin Realtors Association report.
