Area home buyers hibernated in February as bitter cold weather hit the region. Home sales in the four-county metro Milwaukee area were down 10.1 percent in February compared to February of 2013, according to the latest report from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors.
Falls Plaza sold in sheriff’s sale
Falls Plaza, a 124,636-square-foot shopping center in Menomonee Falls that had been in foreclosure, was recently sold in a sheriff’s sale to Kansas City, Mo.-based Mission Peak Capital. The property was sold by Horsham, Penn.-based Falls Plaza Venture LLC.

Another spec industrial building planned in Racine County
Caledonia-based Jon Hendersen Real Estate Inc. plans to build a 37,200-square-foot speculative industrial building in a 36-acre business park that it is developing southwest of I-94 and 6 ½ Mile Road in the Town of Raymond in Racine County.
About 7,000 square feet of space in the building will be occupied by ClearCom Inc., which will move there from Racine. The remaining 30,000 square feet of space in the building, which will be built on a 3-acre lot, is available for lease. Construction of the building is expected to begin this summer, said Jon Hendersen.
