U.S. Attorney selects independent monitor to oversee Miron

U.S. Attorney James Santelle announced today that Stephen VanderBloemen, managing partner of Waukesha-based The VanderBloemen Group, has been selected as the independent monitor to oversee Neenah-based Miron Construction Company Inc.

CREFII Waramaug Milwaukee Airport LLC, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based investment group, recently purchased the Holiday Inn hotel at 545 W. Layton Ave. near Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee for $7.7 million, according to state records.

Construction begins for Mequon Town Center

WiRED Properties and Shaffer Development have begun construction of the $19 million Mequon Town Center mixed-use development at the northwest corner of Mequon and Cedarburg roads in Mequon. WiRED and Shaffer announced Thursday that they have closed on a $13.4 million construction loan for the project with BMO Harris Bank.
