Registration closes today for Commercial Real Estate and Development Conference

Today is the final day to register for the 12th annual BizTimes Milwaukee Commercial Real Estate and Development Conference, which will be held Friday, Nov. 14, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee. Registration for the event will be closed at the end of the day.

Physicians Realty Trust posts third quarter loss

Milwaukee-based Physicians Realty Trust today reported a third quarter net loss of $2.3 million, or six cents lost per share, compared to a net loss of $1.4 million, or 10 cents lost per share, in the third quarter of 2013.

Sheboygan Sears store to close

The Sears store and Sears Auto Center at Memorial Mall in Sheboygan will close in February, a spokesman for the company said. The store has 31 employees.

Wal-Mart pays $5 million to buy former Sheboygan Menards store

An affiliate of Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. recently purchased the former Menards store building in the Town of Sheboygan for $5 million, according to state records.
