Moore Oil tackles bullying in Milwaukee schools
Milwaukee-based Moore Oil has made a $30,000 donation to Youth Frontiers, the leading character education organization in the Upper Midwest, to hold comprehensive retreats with Milwaukee-area middle and high schools to help build a more respectful school culture and to help reduce bullying. The financial support will allow Youth Frontiers to reach 1,000 students on eight retreats next school year.
Caledonia boy wins national Google image competition
Dylan Hoffman, a seven-year-old boy from the Prairie School in Racine, was named the national winner of this year's Doodle 4 Google competition. His efforts have earned him a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant for his school.
