Dowell to retire from Johnson Controls

Mary Dowell of Glendale-based Johnson Controls Inc. announced on Monday that she will be retiring on April 30. Dowell has served as vice president of foundation affairs & global community relations since 2003.

Bill Morgan, president of Sheboygan Falls-based Johnsonville Sausage LLC, will be honored as the 14th inductee into the Wisconsin Safety Hall of Fame.

FirsTime Design reports jump in profits

New Berlin-based clock manufacturer and distributor FirsTime Design Ltd. has reported first quarter net income of $218,000, or 14 cents per share, up 57 percent from net income of $139,000, or 9 cents per share, in the first quarter of 2014.

Erik Buell Racing closes, affecting 126 employees

East Troy-based Erik Buell Racing LLC permanently ceased operations on Wednesday at noon. The racing motorcycle manufacturer, located at 2799 Buell Drive, had 126 employees.

Gehl family gives $3 million in gifts to employees

After they sold their company in Germantown in March, members of the Gehl family gave generous cash gifts of gratitude to the employees at Gehl Foods Inc.
