Massachusetts manufacturer consolidating business in Milwaukee

Leominster, Mass.-based PFERD Inc. announced it plans to consolidate its staff and operations, including brush production, distribution, and sales and marketing, at its 100,000-square-foot Milwaukee facility. The move is scheduled to be completed by the early third quarter of 2015, around the same time the Massachusetts location will close.

Milwaukee-based Brady Corp. reported fiscal third quarter net income of $17.2 million, or 33 cents per share, down from $24.1 million, or 39 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2014.
