Glendale-based global diversified industrial company Johnson Controls Inc. announced it is reviewing strategic options for its automotive business. Those options include a joint venture, a sale or a spinoff.

Amazon announced on Thursday that its new 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Kenosha has shipped its first customer order.

Rexnord Corp., a Milwaukee-based process and motion control product manufacturer, announced that non-executive chairman George Sherman will retire following the company’s annual meeting of stockholders in July. The board of directors has elected retired A.O. Smith chief executive officer Paul Jones to succeed Sherman.

Kenosha toolmaker Snap-on Inc. introduced a new product – an industrial wrench designed to reduce shoulder injuries – in a ceremony held last week at the company’s headquarters. Created by engineers at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the tool’s ergonomic features were inspired by the need to reduce the number and severity of injuries sustained by meter technicians in the gas industry.

Milwaukee-based Stainless Foundry and Engineering Inc. recently appointed Jim Stachowiak president and chief executive officer. He replaced Dan Brockington, who resigned in February after 25 years with the company.

Chicago-based MillerCoors LLC announced that its Milwaukee brewery and corporate offices are now landfill-free. The brewer eliminated 65 tons of waste that was previously sent to landfills each month from its brewery and corporate offices, logging its first landfill-free month at the brewery in December 2014.

Cudahy-based Angelic Bakehouse will significantly expand its presence across the Northeastern United States after landing agreements for its sprouted grain products to be sold at stores in the four Ahold USA divisions.

Waukesha-based Cardiac Science Corp., a manufacturer of automated external defibrillators, was recently awarded $22,991,985 in lost royalties in a breach of contract lawsuit. A 12-person jury in Los Angeles Superior Court unanimously decided in favor of the company's breach of contract claims against Zoll Medical Corp. and Zoll LifeCor Corp.
