From now until April 30, the Health Insurance Marketplace is providing individuals and families who owe a fee for not having coverage in 2014 with one last chance to get covered for 2015.

The Milwaukee-based BloodCenter of Wisconsin is teaming up with the Milwaukee Bucks to host the 15th annual Milwaukee Bucks Blood Drive. The drive will be held on Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 1001 N. 4th St., Milwaukee.

Concordia announces new Massive Open Online Course for nursing program

Mequon-based Concordia University Wisconsin is preparing to launch a new Massive Open Online Course for its nursing program through its office of continuing and distance education. According to CUW, the MOOC is designed to help registered nurses without an advanced degree get additional training, specifically writing skills, essential within their field.

Aurora target of cyber-attack

Aurora Health Care recently discovered it was the target of a cyber-attack that affected some of its workstations and servers. The malware was designed to capture login information used on mostly financial websites and some social media sites, but Aurora chief communications officer Mike Brophy said there is no evidence that the malware accessed any health or insurance information of employees or patients.
