Johnson Controls Inc. announced fiscal second quarter net income of $364 million, or 53 cents per share, up from $354 million, or 51 cents per share, in the same period a year ago.

Brown Deer-based Bank Mutual Corp., the largest Milwaukee County-based bank, reported first quarter net income of $1.2 million, or 3 cents per share, up from $1.0 million, or 2 cents per share, in the same period a year ago.

Associated Bank’s profits soar

Green Bay-based Associated Banc-Corp, the parent company of Associated Bank, today reported first quarter net income to common shareholders of $41 million, or 24 cents per share, up from $15 million, or 9 cents per share, in the same period a year ago.

PNC reports quarterly net income of $811 million

Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services Group Inc. today reported first quarter net income of $811 million, or $1.44 per share, down from $832 million, or $1.57 per share, for the same period a year ago.

UW Credit Union opens new branch

UW Credit Union has opened its newest branch at 21215 E. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. The full-service branch is its fourth in the Milwaukee area and twentieth branch in Wisconsin.
