Fox Point man faces federal charges for allegedly using investor money for cars, operating restaurant

A Fox Point man facing federal charges is being accused of defrauding investors of more than $5.5 million through two separate investment schemes, including allegedly using the money for “Ponzi-like payments to prior investors and to fund his own lifestyle.”

Real estate division of Marcus Investments acquires another retail center in Michigan

Berengaria Development, Marcus Investments’ real estate division, has acquired yet another retail center, this time in Norton Shores, Michigan. The acquisition of Lakeshore Marketplace was completed earlier this month. 

Capital Midwest Fund closes on $41 million fund

Mequon-based venture capital firm Capital Midwest Fund has closed on $41 million worth of capital commitments for its fourth fund, Capital Midwest Fund IV L.P.
