Housing facility planned for female veterans
CommonBond Communities and Community Advocates plan to build a 28-unit, 31,330-square-foot building providing housing and supportive services for women veterans. The facility will be built at 4900 W. Fond du Lac Ave. in Milwaukee.

Boys & Girls Clubs donate more than 6,000 toys through online drive
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee donated more than 6,000 gifts to Boys and Girls Clubs members this past holiday season through the nonprofit’s “Click for St. Nick Online Toy Drive,” exceeding its initial goal of donating 5,500 toys.
