Novozymes expands Milwaukee space

Novozymes BioAg Inc., a Copenhagen, Denmark-based biotech firm, is expanding its presence in Milwaukee. The firm recently leased a 75,500-square-foot building at 4801 W. Woolworth Ave., from Milwaukee-based Phoenix Investors LLC.

MillerCoors names Gavin Hattersley interim CEO

The board of directors of MillerCoors LLC named Gavin Hattersley to the role of interim chief executive officer to lead the business when current CEO Tom Long retires June 30. Hattersley, 52, is currently the chief financial officer of Denver-based Molson Coors Brewing Co. and a former CFO of MillerCoors.

Twin Disc chairman dies

Racine-based Twin Disc Inc. chairman Michael Batten died in his sleep Wednesday morning, the company announced Thursday. Batten worked at Twin Disc since 1970.

Sensient acquires U.K. ink manufacturer

Milwaukee-based colors, flavors and fragrances manufacturer Sensient Technologies Corp. has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of U.K. specialty ink manufacturer Xennia Technology Ltd. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2015.
