Milwaukee-based identification solutions manufacturer Brady Corp. has appointed Russell Shaller to the position of senior vice president and president of its Identification Solutions business, effective June 22. Shaller will report to Brady president and chief executive officer Michael Nauman, and will lead Brady’s largest global platform that includes safety and facility identification, wire identification and product identification businesses.

e-ImageData Corp., a Hartford-based manufacturer of microfilm scanning systems used in libraries and institutions, has filed a lawsuit against ST Imaging Inc. of Northbrook, Ill. The lawsuit calls for a permanent injunction and monetary damages stemming from ST Imaging's alleged false and misleading advertising and statements made to e-Image's current and prospective customers.

Leominster, Mass.-based PFERD Inc. announced it plans to consolidate its staff and operations, including brush production, distribution, and sales and marketing, at its 100,000-square-foot Milwaukee facility.
