Nonprofit organizations looking for a home in Milwaukee now have an opportunity to purchase city-owned, tax-foreclosed properties for $1, thanks to legislation approved by the Milwaukee Common Council on Tuesday.

Marquette University inaugurated Michael Lovell, Ph.D., on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Al McGuire Center on campus. He announced several large-scale initiatives that will extend the university’s presence in Milwaukee and expand its collaborations with other institutions and private sector partners.
