Dentists offer cash in exchange for Halloween Candy
Dr. James Michaels, a dentist from Oconomowoc is one of several Milwaukee area dentists leading an anti tooth-decay movement. Michaels is giving $1 for every pound of Halloween candy he receives.
“Kids can still experience the fun of trick or-treating, and now their piggy banks will benefit as well,” said Michaels.

Michaels is sponsoring the Halloween Candy Buy Back until Saturday, Nov. 5. Children can drop off their candy at his office located at 819 Summit Ave, in Oconomowoc.

Indulgence Chocolatiers to open boutique in Shorewood
Waukesha-based Indulgence Chocolatiers LLC today announced it will open its first chocolate retail boutique in the new Ravenna building at 4525 N. Oakland Ave. in Shorewood.
In the four years since Indulgence first introduced its artisan chocolate to the Milwaukee area, the company has worked to establish its wholesale business, now providing its chocolate confections to 80 food and wine establishments throughout Wisconsin.
Indulgence also sells its confections directly to consumers online and is active in the events industry, providing chocolate favors and dessert catering for weddings, corporate events, etc.
Indulgence owner Julie Waterman said, “We see the addition of a retail store as an opportunity to now connect more directly with our customers in a way we haven’t been able to in the past. With beautiful locally-handcrafted chocolates in unique flavor combinations, monthly tasting and pairing classes, and a knowledgeable staff, we believe our new store will be the destination for chocolate enthusiasts in the Milwaukee area. While we never take ourselves too seriously, Indulgence does take its chocolate seriously. Now we will be able share that passion with our customers by creating a unique store where they can come, taste, and learn.”
Regarding the store’s location, Waterman said, “We are looking forward to becoming part of the North Shore community, and we are particularly excited about being located in the new Ravenna development. It will be wonderful to be near so many other reputable businesses that are helping to transform North Oakland Avenue into a popular destination for people all over the Milwaukee metro area.”
