    Friday, Oct. 30, Discovery World and MSOE present a live re-creation of Orson Wells’ and the Mercury Theater on the Air’s 1938 production of The War of the Worlds in Discovery World’s Innovation Theater. A live celebration will be held with a cash bar and guest John the Savage. Or, people can listen to the radio broadcast of the event on 91.7 WMSE.   • Saturday, Oct. 31 The Milwaukee Bucks celebrate their season home opener at the Bradley Center against the Detroit Pistons
  • Saturday, Oct. 31, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil at the Villa Terrace, 2220 Terrace Ave, Milwaukee, from 6 until 10 p.m. Festivities include a scavenger hunt through the Villa, fortune telling, costume contest, and ghastly stories about some of Milwaukee’s most famous haunted places from the files of milwaukeeghosts.com Treats include heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Zilli Hospitality and a cash bar.
