Industry: Accounting; Provides personalized tax and consulting services to closely-held businesses and individuals.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin- Platteville.

Family: "My husband, Dale, and I are proud parents of two boys, Morgan (7) and Mason (5), who were both adopted from Guatemala as infants."

Hobbies and Interests: Gardening, reading, traveling to northern Wisconsin, boating and snowmobiling.

Favorite book and/or movie: "My favorite classic book and movie is ‘Gone With the Wind.’ Otherwise, I enjoy almost any suspense thriller book or movie."

Favorite musician/band: "I’ve always been a fan of Bon Jovi, but I also enjoy listening to music from Three Doors Down, Nickelback and Matchbox 20."

Favorite place to visit/vacation: "Our family travels to northern Wisconsin quite often where we enjoy boating, hiking, fishing and snowmobiling. After the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, it is nice to relax and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors."

Favorite local restaurant:  Tony Maroni’s Pizza in Sussex

Words to live by: "Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not."

What is your core philosophy for doing business? "In every instance, I conduct business honestly, in a straightforward manner and in our client’s best interest. I also believe in building personal relationships with our clients and employees. It’s more than just a working relationship. It’s a partnership."

Who is your role model and why? "My parents, because they taught me that I can do anything I want as long as I try and work hard for it. When I was young, my dad owned his own business and he constantly served his clients to the best of his ability but he always had time to help his family and friends."

What was the funniest thing that has ever happened to you? "During high school and college, I was employed as a waitress at a local resort. There was a pleasant, older couple who would come in on the weekends for breakfast or lunch and were well known for not being generous tippers. One day I waited on them and I must have been thinking that as I presented the couple with their check and said, ‘Thanks and have a nice tip.’"
