*Thursday, Dec. 19, Enterforce will hold a holiday open house and ribbon cutting at its new Pewaukee location. In addition to celebrating the company’s new location, the event will include an appearance by author and speaker Susan Marshall, who will be available to sign copies of her new book, ‘Life, Be in it’ Words of Wisdom, Humor, and Encouragement.” The free event will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Enterforce’s new location is at 353 Forest Grove Dr., Ste. 100, in Pewaukee. *Thursday, Dec. 19, through Sunday, Dec. 22, the Milwaukee Ballet will continue its 2014 holiday productions of “The Nutcracker” at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, located at 929 N. Water St. in Milwaukee. The family-friendly performances of the famous ballet run two hours. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, 7:30 p.m. on Friday, and 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. *Friday, Dec. 20, the Milwaukee Press Club will hold a special Newsmaker Luncheon focused on the future of the financially troubled Milwaukee Symphony Orchesra (MSO). During the luncheon, MSO president and executive director Mark Niehaus will discuss the orchestra’s pressing need to raise $5 million in order to avoid folding. He will also expand on measures the orchestra is taking in the coming season to operate on a more sustainable business model. The Newsmaker Luncheon, which is open to the public, will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub, located at 137 E. Wells St. in downtown Milwaukee. Cost to attend is $18 for press club members, $23 for non-members, and $13 for students. Lunch is included. Seating will be limited, and advanced registration and payment are required. *Tuesday, Jan. 7, FUEL Milwaukee will hold a “Purely Social @ Camp Bar MKE.” The free social event at Camp Bar MKE will include complimentary appetizers, drink specials for FUEL members, and group activities. The event will also provide the space for more than 200 young professionals, new Milwaukee residents, and other attendees to socialize and network.
