The free festival is based in Cathedral Square Park and features live music performances, an international marketplace, chef and wine demonstrations, authentic French and Cajun cuisine, a 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica and more. The festival picks up speed on Thursday evening with the BMO Harris Bank Storm the Bastille Run, a 5K run/walk and two-mile walk downtown in honor of the 18th century attack on Paris’ Bastille prison. *Friday, July 11, Newaukee will showcase the music of Mutts and Le Freak during its 2014 season of the Koss Lunar Series at the Milwaukee Athletic Club Rooftop. The weekly music series, which Newaukee presents in partnership with the Koss Corporation, features live music, a DJ, food and beverage service. The series, free for Newaukee members, runs every Friday evening from 6 to 11 p.m. through Sept. 5. Attendees should plan to dress in business casual attire.
