  • Thursday, Jan. 7 The International Association of Administrative Professionals-Waukesha Chapter will host its next meeting at the Venice Club, 1905 N. Calhoun Road, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will feature a presentation on office ergonomics by Sara Mittelsteadt called “Maximize Employee Productivity While Reducing Injuries.” She has been selling and representing office products for more than 30 years.
  • Monday, Jan. 11 LinkedIn-Milwaukee will host its monthly event on the topic of how businesses can reap the benefits of social media, presented by the business people that use this valuable tool. It will feature a panel discussion made up of local business people that are using social media to promote their products and services. These professionals will provide real-time examples and be able to explain how they use social media in a very practical way.   • Wednesday, Jan. 13 Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce will host “Capturing the Mind of Your Customers: How to Win More Business in a Challenging Economy” from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Oconomowoc, 1433 Pabst Farms Circle. Event will include a presentation by best selling author and speaker Tony Rubleski of the Mind Capture Group.
