Brewers reach 1 million ticket mark

The Milwaukee Brewers announced Wednesday that the club has reached 1 million tickets sold for the 2013 season.

This marks the second-earliest date in franchise history that the milestone has been reached.  The franchise record for the fastest to 1 million tickets sold came prior to the 2012 season, occurring on Dec. 22, 2011.

“Fans are clearly excited for the upcoming season as evidenced by the strong ticket sales to date,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers chief operating officer. “We look forward to an exciting year at Miller Park and appreciate the support of the fans, who once again are demonstrating their unrivalled support and passion for the team.”
