Brewers Organics, a Milwaukee-based organic delivery service, on Wednesday announced it has been acquired by Amanda and Brandon Ferguson of Bay View.
Brewers Organics was started in 2012 and provides weekly and bi-weekly organic produce boxes directly to customer’s homes and offices. Customers customize their produce delivery and are able to add-on local and organic grocery items.
The organization serves hundreds of customers in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Washington, and Waukesha counties.
“We believe in organic, local and natural foods, and the mission of making organic produce more accessible within our local community,” said Amanda Ferguson.
Ferguson added that Brewers Organics is committed to supporting and partnering with local organic farmers. It currently offers local produce to customers and is looking forward to, once again, expanding the local options during the summer and fall growing seasons.
The Fergusons acquired the business from founder Lucinda Clark.
