BLOOMER – Sand mining firm laying off 58 workers in Bloomer

Fifty-eight workers of the Iron Mountain Rock Company are being laid off from the Chippewa Sand facility at 19952 County DD in Bloomer, the company notified the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.

The layoffs started Friday.
