Milwaukee-based nonprofit, Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin, Inc., will be hosting several Affordable Care Act-related community education events in the coming weeks.
The next event is being held tomorrow, at the Black Health Coalition of Wisconsin’s office at 3020 W. Vliet Street in Milwaukee, and is titled “Affordable Care Act – What I Need To Know.” People will be able to apply for coverage at the event.
Additional events in Milwaukee, many of which are being held in partnership with other organizations, are as follows:
- Monday, Nov. 25, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Washington High School, 2525 N. Sherman Blvd. (Partnering with Milwaukee Public Schools)
- Tuesday, Nov. 26, 12 – 1:30 p.m., Wisconsin African American Women’s Center (lower level, board room), 3020 W. Vliet Street (Partnering with the Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce)
- Monday, Dec. 9, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1825 W. Hampton Ave.
- Tuesday, Dec. 10, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2207 N. 2nd Street
- Wednesday, Dec. 11, 5:30 – 7 p.m., South Division High School, 1515 W. Lapham Blvd. (Partnering with MPS)
