BizTimes Cover Story: Around The Corners, will Brookfield development be a boom or bust?

Learn more about:

The new edition of the BizTimes Milwaukee magazine takes an in-depth look at The Corners, the $150 million retail and residential development planned by the Marcus Corp. at the former West Point Cinema site and the former Menard’s store site at the intersection of I-94, Barker Road and Bluemound Road in the Town of Brookfield.

The project will consist of a 140,000-square-foot Von Maur deparment store, another 200,000 square feet of retail space, 30,000 square feet of restaurant space and 120 apartment units.
Some believe The Corners will become a major regional shopping destination in southeastern Wisconsin.
The BizTimes report
compared The Corners to the Pabst Farms project in Oconomowoc, which was also expected to create a regional retail destination but has not lived up to expectations.
