Becky’s Blissful Bakery

Becky’s Blissful Bakery, Pewaukee, has announced a new partnership with Wisconsin based Clover Meadow Winery, a family owned certified organic, local vineyard, orchard, winery and distillery. The bakery will incorporate Clover Meadows organic red wine into its newest Sangria Caramels. The Sangria Caramels are made with Clover Meadow’s organic Voluptuous Violet Red Wine, which is made with Wisconsin bluebell grapes. The caramels are available online as well as in many local grocery stores and at Becky’s Blissful Bakery located at 214 Oakton Ave., Pewaukee.
    
Hyatt Regency Milwaukee

The Hyatt Regency Milwaukee was recently awarded the 2011 World Wide Sales Franchise Hotel Partner of the Year Award. The Hyatt Worldwide Group and Transient Sales Force announced the award at the annual Hyatt sales meeting. The Hyatt Regency Milwaukee is the first recipient of this inaugural award. Factors including customer recognition, attendance at industry and Hyatt sponsored events, response time to group and transient requests for proposals, promotion of Hyatt programs, partnering with the worldwide sales franchise and emulation of Hyatt’s mission factored into which hotel received the award. The Hyatt Regency Milwaukee demonstrated the best overall performance in all categories.

Corix Group

Wauwatosa-based Corix Utilities has been contracted by Itron to install the City of Madison’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System. Project H2O is the city’s program to automate the water meter reading system. Direct benefits will include more effective and efficient water conservation as well as the creation of employment when Corix opens a new office in Madison in May. The project is expected to be complete by mid 2013.

Nelson Schmidt

Texas-based Vorex Inc. a provider of demand enterprise resource planning solutions, has selected Milwaukee-based Nelson Schmidt Inc., as its agency of record. Nelson Schmidt has been tapped to create and execute a marketing communications plan for Vorex’s new Professional Services Automation (PSA) suite targeting the small business market. The new Software as a Service product is a web-based platform that integrates time and attendance, customer relationship management, project tracking and management, invoicing and human resource management. Nelson Schmidt has already begun extensive market analysis, brand development and overall marketing communications planning for the software company. As part of the overall marketing communications plan, Nelson Schmidt will support advertising, media planning and buying, customer relationship management, public relations, website development and event promotions. The account will be in excess of $1 million for 2012.
