Peabody’s Interiors
Peabody’s Interiors recently moved its store location from Whitefish Bay to Brown Deer. The store, now located in a custom-built interior design studio at 8655 N. Deerwood Lane, Suite One South in the Deerwood Village Historical District, is expected to open by the end of April. The new space is adjacent to Wade Weissmann Architecture, a frequent collaborator on projects, and will enable Peabody’s to offer clients a wider range of services. It will also fulfill the vision of the store’s late owners. The current location at 133 E. Silver Spring Dr. will remain open through May 29. During that time, the store will host a moving sale on many of its home furnishings.
MC Services
MC Services, Pewaukee, has combined forces with C2 Graphics Productivity Solutions LLC, Milwaukee, and Brookfield-based T3 Training to collectively provide Apple, FileMaker, Adobe, and Microsoft software training and certifications to business clients in southeastern Wisconsin. Operating out of Milwaukee and Madison, C2 Graphics Productivity Solutions is one of the largest locally-owned creative talent placement firms in Wisconsin and has been the state’s only Adobe Authorized Training Center since 2004. T3 Training is a Microsoft Certified Partner and serves as a business-to-business technology training provider, offering its clients employee training consultations, equipment, training staff and curriculum for both new and existing technology and applications.

Elite Sports Clubs

Elite Sports Clubs has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Athletic club and gymnasiums, membership category by the Small Business Commerce Association. The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5 percent of small businesses throughout the country.. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off statistical research and also information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports.

Staples Marketing LLC

Staples Marketing, Pewaukee, received a total of five ADDY awards at the ADDY Awards Gala hosted by American Advertising Federation (AAF) – Madison chapter. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. Staples Marketing won a Gold ADDY for a television spot that encourages Wisconsin residents to use a seat belt produced for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Zero in Wisconsin campaign. The agency also won four Silver ADDY Awards for work created for WisDOT – in the categories of Public Service, Television and Public Service, and Mixed Media. The agency won for spots discouraging drunk driving and encouraging seat belt usage.

U.S. Cellular

U.S. Cellular has opened a retail store in Germantown, located at W183 N9609 Appleton Ave. The new store features consulting stations, a service technician window, live wireless phone demonstration stations and an interactive display for customers to try live data applications, mobile music, GPS services, and ringtones. The location will serve Germantown, Menomonee Falls and surrounding communities. Mary Jane Woodall of Menomonee Falls, will serve as the store manager. Woodall was previously a sales manager at the U.S. Cellular store in Brookfield. In addition to Woodall, eight associates will staff the Germantown store.
Talent Network Group
Brookfield-based Talent Network Group has launched a new division that will provide small and mid-size companies in southeastern Wisconsin with a variety of customized services, such as a subscription based self-serve human resources program, contract HR specialists and complete HR outsourcing. The service provides clients with access to HR forms, up-to-date labor laws & regulations, HR best practice guidelines, and more. Additional options include contract HR specialists to handle the HR function.
