Waterstone Mortgage Corp. has unveiled a new logo in order to rebrand the company. They intend to rebrand themselves as a corporate identity and they want to renew their mission and values. The plan is to infuse the new brand through the company’s website, print and online advertising, and social media, recruiting marketing and employee communications. The new headquarters will be built on Paul Road in Pewaukee this summer, where they will also feature the new brand.

88Nine RadioMilwaukee (88.9 FM)

88Nine RadioMilwaukee (88.9 FM) has bought a 14,000 square-foot building in Milwaukee’s Fifth Ward to house its studios and offices long with a 100-sesat broadcast performance space on 158 S. Barclay Street. This brick building has been vacant for years and has been a home to many businesses such as a machine shop and foundry operation. The radio station intends to build a new state-of-the-art studio to build stronger connections with the public by developing a greater physical presence with the community. A new Stone Creek Coffee will be built on the ground floor with Milwaukee’s first 100% manual brew bar store.

The Wisconsin Better Business Bureau (BBB)

The Wisconsin Better Business Bureau (BBB) will move offices to 10019 W. Greenfield Ave on May 3rd. They want to improve operating efficiency in a “state-of-the-art building.” The new location includes a community room for accredited business events and a meeting room and media room for covering local news stories. The BBB will build a logo sign along Interstate 804 corridor to increase visibility and they also expect to offer more business workshop in 2014 at the new facility.

Nelson Schmidt Inc. was selected as 2013 Top Agency of the Year in the category of firms with under $10 million in annual revenue. The story has been published in BtoB Magazine, a global authority for business to business marketing.

Ebenezer Child Care Centers

Beverly Anderson, Executive Director of Ebenezer Child Care Centers has received the Recognition Award from the Wisconsin Child Care Administrator’s Association (WCCA) for making contributions to the early care and education field in the State of Wisconsin. Anderson has been Executive Director since 1992 and an active member of WCCA since 1998. She’s co-founder of and chair of the Milwaukee Child Care Alliance and she’s a member of the Association of Early Learning Leaders, Early Learning Coalition, and Wisconsin Council of Children and Families.
