Boevo, LLC

What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?

Starting the business has taken all my time, leaving very little room for exercising. After significant weight gain, I am making it a priority in 2008. For now, it mostly consists of running.

What fitness clubs do you belong to, if any?

Wisconsin Athletic Club

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?

It provides the energy and personal confidence I need to maintain my schedule.  To start a company, you have to give it your all, and being fit allows for this.

How does personal fitness affect your work life?

I come ready to fully perform. I start my day alive and ready to take on the days work. No challenge too big.  Being healthy adds a significant amount to the way you approach things (positive and confident).

Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?

What health/wellness organizations do you contract with, if any?

We have made a corporate wellness program and work with many of the area clubs. Our employees live in different areas and we have allowed them to choose the fitness establishment that fits them.

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?

Positive, confident, healthy, and happy team that is willing and able to fully perform and not afraid to take on challenges. The Boevo environment is unlike any organization that I have been around, we are like a big family that is there to help each other succeed both professionally and personally.

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?

You can’t go wrong living a healthy lifestyle and all can improve their current status. You get out what you put in, so accept my genuine encouragement to take the challenge. As for the corporate plan, the ROI is amazing. You’ll see significant performance improvements, the attitude improvement is priceless, and it means more than you realize to an employee that you care about them. Too many employers want just a job done; back to the you get out what you put in philosophy. Show your people that you care about their personal lives, too, and they’ll give back tenfold.
