What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of? I use a rowing machine and exercise bike daily for 45 minutes. I also play basketball with kids as often as possible. (and the kids are getting bigger, faster and more skilled) in addition to stretching (out on the couch nightly).

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life? Like I said last year, chicks are all over me, man.

How does personal fitness affect your work life? I am regularly ridiculed by my team members because of my personal fitness. My personal fitness provides comic relief to my organization.

How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization? People who are fit and take their health and bodies seriously, nag and scold the rest of the team. Team members who are not particularily interested in fitness or wellness go out with each other to bars after work more frequently.

What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative? Do not take advice from someone who is more screwed up than you are. Meaning in most cases, my advice about fitness is perhaps, less than optimum. Better go talk to the winners of this contest instead.
