Allen Edmonds celebrates 91 years with huge sale

Organizations:

Port Washington-based Allen Edmonds Shoe Corp. announced the start of its annual Rediscover America national sales event, the company’s largest sale of the year.

In partnership with over 400 authorized dealers across America, Allen Edmonds is offering their best prices of the year on 13-featured shoes – in honor of the 13 original colonies.

This year marks the company’s celebration of 91 years as an American-made shoe and leather goods manufacturer. While most companies have off-shored their entire production, Allen Edmonds has stayed committed to Wisconsin and the shores of Lake Michigan, creating more than 300 jobs. The company also recently opened its 45th U.S. retail location in Birmingham, Ala.

“This event is about two things,” said Paul Grangaard, president and chief executive officer at Allen Edmonds. “Thanking our loyal customers and friends for driving our recent business success, and celebrating 91 years of Made in the USA quality and craftsmanship. We’re proud to be doing our part in the comeback of great American manufacturing.”

The 13 styles will be offered at 20 to 30 percent off and will include classic best sellers and new styles of boots, lace-ups, slip-ons, leather soles and rubber-soled styles. In addition, all Allen Edmonds branded shoes, apparel, belts, cedar products and accessories will be 14.92 percent off in honor of Columbus Day.

The Rediscover America sale prices will be offered in company owned retail stores, through participating Allen Edmonds dealers and at www.AllenEdmonds.com. The Rediscover America promotion runs through the day after Columbus Day, Oct. 15.
