IndyCar racing will return to the Milwaukee Mile in 2014 and 2015 with a new date and the addition of Beloit-based ABC Supply Co. Inc. as a title sponsor.
The race will be known as the ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at Milwaukee IndyFest and will be the main event of the two-day Milwaukee IndyFest, which will be held on Aug. 16-17 at the Milwaukee Mile at State Fair Park in West Allis.
Andretti Sports Marketing remains the organizer of the Milwaukee IndyFest event. Led by Michael Andretti, the organization has run the Milwaukee IndyCar race event since 2012. The event has been held on Father’s Day weekend in June the last two years, but will be shifted to August for 2014 and 2015.
“We’re thrilled to announce the ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 at Milwaukee IndyFest, a new title sponsor and a new date to continue the tradition of IndyCar racing at the Mile,” said Kevin Healy, managing director for Andretti Sports Marketing. “We appreciate the leadership that (ABC Supply founder and chairwoman) Diane Hendricks and ABC Supply has provided to ensure that an international motorsports event remains in Wisconsin.”

As a sponsor of A.J. Foyt Racing for almost 10 years, we’re thrilled to play a small part in open-wheel racing in Wisconsin.”
In addition to the ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 and other races, Milwaukee IndyFest will once again feature an infield midway, beer garden and live music.
Tickets go on sale on Nov. 13.
