Aaron Jagdfeld joins Milwaukee World Festival board

Organizations:

Aaron Jagdfeld, president and chief executive officer of Generac Power Systems, has joined the board of Summerfest nonprofit operator Milwaukee World Festival, Inc.

The board appointment follows an announcement in November that the Town of Genesee-based generator maker will sponsor the stage at Henry Maier Festival Park formerly sponsored by Harley-Davidson.

“As a lifetime Milwaukee-area resident, Aaron understands the importance of Summerfest and all of the events at Henry Maier Festival Park that contribute to our community,” said Don Smiley, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. “We are thrilled to welcome Aaron to our board.”

The new “Generac Power Stage,” which will include several upgrades to its design, will be unveiled during Summerfest 2021, scheduled for September.

“Generac is proud to sponsor such a storied Milwaukee tradition,” said Jagdfeld. “We look forward to contributing to Milwaukee World Festival’s continued efforts to showcase our community as a great place to live and work.”

Executives from two other Summerfest stage title sponsors also sit on the MWF board, including David Casper of BMO Harris Bank and Jim Wright of MillerCoors LLC.
