Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders: Felice Green

Class of 2025

Felice Green, a Milwaukee native, is the senior director of programming at Milwaukee Water Commons, a cross-city network that fosters connection, collaboration and community leadership on behalf of the area’s common waters.

“She loves the city of Milwaukee and the community she lives, works and plays in,” said Frank Headd, pastor of the Spirit of Christ Deliverance Church. “In Milwaukee, Felice is known as a connector and community bridge. She is able to connect residents and neighbors in the Sherman Park neighborhood with valuable resources and information.”

Green serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Sherman Park Community Association since 2022. She volunteers with the organization’s voter registration and election outreach, neighborhood clean-ups, housing resource fairs, safer streets advocacy and to increase green spaces in marginalized neighborhoods.

“When Felice is not volunteering, she works for Milwaukee Water Commons. Combining her professional work with SPCA has resulted in 150 trees being planted on public and private lots throughout Sherman Park with no financial cost to homeowners,” Headd said.
