Milwaukee native Rodney Lynk, CEO of the Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy, has had experience with inequitable academic resources that inspired his career in education, according to Maurice Thomas, chief development officer at HFCA, located in Milwaukee.
“With degrees in finance, education and business – and a doctorate in progress at the University of Wisconsin-Madison – he pairs academic expertise with a commitment to transformative leadership,” Thomas said.
Since joining HFCA in July 2024, Lynk has continued the implementation of innovative initiatives, including dual-enrollment programs and rigorous academic standards, ensuring a sustained 100% college acceptance rate for graduating seniors. His strategic partnerships with local universities and businesses enhance college and career pathways for students.
Previously, as chief academic officer at Milwaukee Excellence Charter School, Lynk helped introduce advanced STEM programs, leading the school to earn a five-star rating for three consecutive years.
“Lynk’s leadership is a catalyst for change, reshaping the educational landscape in Milwaukee and beyond,” said Thomas.
