Miller will be next president of Gehl Company
West Bend-based Gehl Company has announced that Daniel Miller has succeeded Malcolm "Mac" Moore as president.
Miller joined Gehl Company as director of manufacturing operations in October 2001 and was appointed vice president of manufacturing operations in December 2005. Prior to joining Gehl Company, Miller held a variety of senior management positions in manufacturing and distribution at Woods Equipment Company, a manufacturer of agricultural, turf and construction equipment. Miller also served as the president of the Agricultural Products Group for TIC United Corp. in Dallas, Texas.
"We are very pleased to have Dan stepping into the lead management role for Gehl Company. Dan has an excellent background in operations management and a thorough understanding of our products, markets, and the many opportunities that lie ahead in the compact equipment sector. Dan and I have worked very closely over the past 8-1/2 years and I know that I will be leaving Gehl in good hands,” Moore said.
Gehl has also promoted Serge Bosche to vice president of sales and marketing. Bosche joined Gehl in February 2009 after the company was acquired by Manitou B.F. He will continue to serve as president and CEO of Manitou North America Inc., a sister company to Gehl located in Waco TX.
Gehl is a manufacturer and distributor of compact equipment used worldwide in construction and agricultural markets. In October 2008, Gehl became a subsidiary of the Manitou Group of France.
