Kohl to celebrate renovations at medical center

U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wisconsin) will attend a celebration on Friday, April 9, for the completion of the renovations of the 16th Street Chavez Health Center in Milwaukee.
Kohl helped to secure more than $260,000 in federal funding for the Chavez Health Center, enabling the facility to renovate examination rooms, upgrade technology equipment and streamline operations.
Kohl is a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee and had identified the project as a priority for funding.
