Habitat for Humanity ReStore, will host its first annual Electronics Recycling Day at the Wisconsin State Fair Park on Saturday, July 23. Community members are encouraged to bring old or non-functioning electronics to the north parking lot off of I-94 between 8:30a.m. and 2 p.m. There are no residency restrictions for this recycling event. Televisions, computers, fax machines, printers, scanners, phones, cell phones, microwaves, copy machines, stereo equipment, game consoles, and smaller electronics will be accepted.
There is no charge to recycle electronics with the ReStore. Vintage Tech Recyclers, a partner in the event will contribute a portion of the proceeds made from the recycled materials back to Habitat for Humanity. Anyone who donates electronics will receive a coupon for 50 percent off their next purchase at the ReStore.
