Margaret Crowley has a message for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and Common Council President Michael Murphy: Dare to be bold when it comes to negotiating with Nationstar Mortgage.
The company controls almost 300 foreclosed properties in the city. The properties create blight in neighborhoods, fail to contribute to the tax base and drain city coffers of public health and safety funds, according to Crowley.
