International Autos plans to add a Fiat dealership at its Highway 100 location in West Allis.
International Autos plans to build a 1,300-square-foot addition to the former Audi showroom at 2400 S. 108th St. to accommodate the new Fiat dealership there.
It will be the only Fiat dealership in the Milwaukee area. Bergstrom Automotive previously had a Fiat dealership at 11330 W. Metro Auto Mall on the far northwest side of the City of Milwaukee, but recently gave it up and International Autos was awarded the Fiat franchise, said Tom Dexter, a partner with International Autos.
“It fills up (the former Audi) building,” Dexter said. “Fiat is a great franchise.”
The International Autos Audi dealership was moved about a year ago to the former Gordie Boucher Nissan dealership building at 10606 W. Arthur Ave., behind the International Autos location on Highway 100. International Autos did a “75 percet rebuild” of the 25,000-square-foot building for the Audi dealership, Dexter said.
