Paul McCaughey, vice president and chief technology officer at Waukesha State Bank, retired today. McCaughey’s career with the bank spanned four decades, and included work that helped make Waukesha State Bank a leader in implementing innovative technology services in its banking operations and customer products.
"Paul directed and developed the Bank’s technology from its infancy in 1968, keeping the bank in the forefront of modern service to our customers," said Ty R. Taylor, president and CEO.
McCaughey’s work in the data center included computer operating and programming, and was appointed vice president and manager of the bank’s Data Processing Department in 1986. In 2006, he was promoted to vice president and chief technology officer.
Waukesha State Bank operates 12 full-service and seven limited service offices in Brookfield, Delafield, Mukwonago, Muskego, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Sussex and Waukesha. It plans to open its 13th full-service branch later this year in Waukesha at East Racine Avenue and Highway 164.
Glen Hackmann, general counsel at Robert W. Baird & Co., has received the Mrs. Walter H. Stiemke Award from the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF). The Stiemke Award, UPAF’s highest honor, recognizes extraordinary dedication to the performing arts and UPAF.
Hackmann, who joined Baird in 1984, is a long-time leader in Milwaukee’s performing arts community. He is currently a member of UPAF’s board of directors – a board he chaired for two years. In addition, he served six years each on the boards of the Milwaukee Ballet Company and the Florentine Opera Company, including serving as Florentine Opera president from 2001-2003.
Darci Middaugh, CPA and partner in the Milwaukee-based accounting firm RitzHolman CPAs, has been appointed chair of the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation.
“We are pleased to have Darci accept the role of chair,” said John Leekley, past chair of the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation. “She has been actively involved in the organization for a number of years and has played a key role in many of the new strategic initiatives undertaken by the board. I believe that her history with the foundation, along with her passion for the Menomonee Falls community, will continue to strengthen the organization.”
Middaugh, a member of RitzHolman CPAs’ tax team, provides personalized tax and consulting services to individuals and closely-held businesses. She works directly with her clients on issues such as tax compliance and planning, entity choice, retirement plan considerations and general business planning. Middaugh also performs audits of HUD and low-income tax credit properties.
