Things You Can Do Now to Make a Difference.” Seminar from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 at the Sheraton Brookfield. Cost is $30 for members, $18 for a guest with a member, and $35 for non members. Speaker will be Martin Pottle, APR, a professional plastics marketer who has helped large and small companies around the globe increase their awareness, new business leads and sales. Moraine Park Technical College will hold a free executive overview of its Lean Enterprise Certificate program from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12 at its campus in West Bend. The certificate series includes programs on the principals and practice of lean manufacturing, effectively implementing a lean program, value stream mapping, employing 5S, planning and implementing a Kaizen event, and use of total productive maintenance.
