The nomination deadline for the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year program has been extended until Dec. 8.
The annual business contest, presented by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, recognizes manufacturers based in Wisconsin for their contributions to the state’s productivity and employment. Manufacturers are recognized in four size categories for innovation, philanthropy, technological advances, commitment to customer satisfaction, and quality jobs.
The program also awards the Sustainability award, which recognizes environmentally sustainable practices in manufacturing.
Last year’s winners included Oshkosh Corp., American Orthodontics Corp., Sentry Equipment Corp., Northwoods Paper Converting, Frito-Lay Inc., Mayville Engineering Company Inc., Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Company Inc., and Plastic Components Inc.
This year’s awards will be announced at a black-tie event on Feb. 24 at Milwaukee’s Pfister Hotel. For more information about the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year program or to nominate a company, visit http://www.wimoty.com.
