Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival tour will bring a host of big-name folk and rock artists to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater during this year’s Summerfest.
The 10-hour festival will kick off at 1 p.m. on June 27. In addition to Willie Nelson & Family, the festival lineup includes: Phil Lesh & Friends, The Avett Brothers, Counting Crows, Alison Krauss, Dawes and Trapper Schoepp.
The Outlaw Music Festival last came to Summerfest in 2017, with a lineup that included Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow and Jason Isbell. It was the first time Milwaukee World Festival Inc., the Milwaukee-based Summerfest operator, booked a festival within a festival. The inaugural Outlaw Music Festival debuted in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2016.
Tickets for the Outlaw Music Festival go on sale March 8 at the Summerfest website and Ticketmaster.
The headlining acts announced so far for Summerfest 2019 include:
