Pleasant Prairie-based Uline Inc., a distributor of shipping and packaging materials, plans to occupy an existing 256,240-square-foot building at 8505 100th St. in the village for storage and distribution purposes.
The company currently operates two other distribution warehouses in Pleasant Prairie.
In 2010, Uline moved its corporate headquarters from Illinois to a new corporate campus in Pleasant Prairie, which includes a 1-million-square-foot warehouse and a 200,000-square-foot office building on a 200-acre site southwest of I-94 and county trunk Highway Q.
The 100th Street facility is located in the LakeView Corporate Park. Uline plans to occupy the building in two phases. It plans to occupy 125,440 square feet of space by the end of November and the rest of the building will be occupied by the end of the year.
The facility will have 12 to 17 employees working over two shifts.
