Super Steel promotes Smith to president

Milwaukee-based Super Steel LLC announced that Dirk Smith has been appointed as president and chief operating officer.
Paul Luber will continue as chief executive officer and chairman of the board for the company.
Luber said, “We are extremely pleased with the addition of Dirk in this key leadership role. Over the past 20 years he has held various positions within the engineered metal manufacturing space and helped successfully grow and position several organizations.  Looking forward, I have tremendous confidence in Dirk’s ability to implement the Super Steel growth strategy and take full advantage of our 80-plus-year heritage.”
Smith also was appointed to the Super Steel board of directors.
